DanceLite

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DanceLite Health (“DanceLite”, “we”) collects when you use dancelite.fit, why we collect it, who else receives it and what you can do about it.

By continuing past the first screen, you confirm that you have read this policy and that you are at least 18 years old. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site.

The answers you give in the questionnaire: your age range, goals, current and target body type, the areas you want to work on, your activity and dance level, the dance styles you enjoy, any parts of the body where you have pain or difficulty, and an upcoming event, as well as the height, weight and target weight you enter. Some of these answers are about your health.

Random identifiers that your browser creates for your device and your visit, so that your answers stay together. The questionnaire does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.

How you use the site: the pages and sections you reach, the plan you choose, the buttons you tap, and when.

Technical information your browser sends: the page address, the page you came from, the campaign details in the link you followed (including the click identifier Meta adds to its ads), your device type, your browser and operating system, and your IP address.

To run the questionnaire and to build your plan and the figures shown with it, such as your body mass index and a projected date.

To understand which parts of the site work, and to improve them.

To measure and improve our advertising.

To keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Your IP address is used for this and is not saved with your answers.

The site keeps your answers, the identifiers above and the campaign details in your browser's storage, so that reloading a page does not lose your progress and your visit can be linked to the ad that brought you here. Campaign parameters are kept for up to 30 days; Meta's click identifier stays until a newer ad click replaces it or you clear this site's data.

Meta's cookies — _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad — are set on this site by the Meta Pixel, or by our own code on its behalf. They let Meta recognise your browser and connect your visit to the ad you clicked.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Doing so can reset your progress and stops your visit being linked to an ad.

We use the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta's Conversions API on our server. When you open a page or take a step — for example starting or finishing the questionnaire, viewing or choosing a plan, or going to checkout — Meta receives the name of that step, the page address, the plan and price involved, the payment option you tapped at checkout, your IP address, your browser details, the Meta cookies above and a scrambled (hashed) copy of our random identifier.

Meta uses this to measure our ads and, under its own terms and privacy policy, may use it to decide which ads to show you. We do not send Meta your answers, your measurements or your age range.

You can control how Meta uses this in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at youradchoices.ca in Canada, optout.aboutads.info in the United States and youronlinechoices.eu in Europe.

We do not sell your information. Apart from Meta, as described above, it is handled only by the companies that run this site for us — Vercel, which hosts it, and Supabase, which stores its data — and they process it on our instructions.

These companies and Meta may process your information outside your country, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law.

DanceLite never collects or stores card numbers, expiry dates, security codes or billing addresses.

We keep your answers and the record of your visit for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and then delete or anonymise them. Meta keeps what it receives under its own policy.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to support@dancelite.fit.

Your questionnaire answers are linked to random identifiers in your browser rather than to your name. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes that link. To help us find your records, tell us roughly when you visited and on which device.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live — in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

DanceLite is for adults. If you are under 18, please do not use the site. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, write to support@dancelite.fit and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The date below shows the current version, and if a change is significant we will say so on this page.
